Beacon Cinema Block Party and Midnight Screening of "New Moon"

Be the first to experience downtown's brand new cinema!

Downtown Pittsfield's brand new movie theater complex, The Beacon Cinema will open it's doors this Thursday for a midnight showing of "New Moon", the second film in the Twilight series. To celebrate this amazing new addition to downtown, Berkshire Bank is throwing a block party that kicks off at 8pm with music, dancing, and prizes!

Featured performers at the event include local rock stars, The Werewolves of Pittsfield and from this year's Pittsfield Halloween Parade, the "Thriller" Dancers of the Canterella School of Dance are back and will perform and teach the audience a few moves!

Come dressed up as your favorite Twilight character (variations of vampires and werewolves will be considered) for the Edward and Bella Costume Contest, with a first prize cash award of $500! Also, make sure you have studied up on your Twilight fun-facts, because there will be a Trivia Contest during the block party with some great prizes!

The movie begins at Midnight, but tickets can be purchased in advance at www.thebeaconcinema.com/

If you have already purchased your ticket online, vouchers can be redeemed at the ticket booth beginning at 8pm.
