The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts A Community Arts Center in the Berkshires
The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts is a community arts center housed in a historic building in downtown Pittsfield. Inside, there’s a gallery and performance area, workshops, and artist’s studios. It's open to the public and located at 28 Renne Avenue, just off Fenn Street between First and North Streets. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 12 noon through 5pm.

Art shows! The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts features current work of local and regional artists and craftspeople, both well known and emerging.
Events & Performances! The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts features performances and readings by a variety of musicians, dancers, actors and poets.
Artist Studios! Nine individual artist rental studios are housed in the Lichtenstein Center, joining over 40 other working artist studios in downtown Pittsfield to create a thriving creative community. To join the waiting list for available studios, please send a postcard with your name, address, phone number, email address and media to Megan Whilden, Office of Cultural Development, City of Pittsfield, 28 Renne Ave, Pittsfield, MA 01201
Classes and Workshops! Local teaching artists lead a variety of classes at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts.
Gallery & space rental! Arts and civic organizations can rent the gallery space for events. Contact the Megan Whilden, Director of Cultural Development for the City of Pittsfield, for more information at 413-499-9348.
