Interprint
- This international company, which prints paper for the laminate industry, purchased the former ALNASCO property from the City on July 2001 for the purpose of building a new site-of-the-art manufacturing plant. Formerly located in a mill complex on Peck’s Road, the new facility has allowed Interprint to consolidate its operations, expand its capacity, and operate more efficiently. Interprint began the first phase of 131,000 square feet of building in 2004 and completed construction in 2005.

William Hines, CEO of Interprint and Mayor James Ruberto celebrate the groundbreaking of Interprint’s $23 million manufacturing plant, the largest single capital investment by the international company. The expansion in Pittsfield was facilitated by the City providing assistance in acquisition of the site and federal funding to extend water and sewer utilities and a beneficial Tax Increment Financing agreement.
