The Pittsfield Visitors Center offers a variety of information and maps, including what’s happening in the city, lodging reservations, and during the summer, half-price and discount tickets to area venues.

The Pittsfield Visitors Center is located at 179 South Street (Route 7). You can reach the visitors center by phone, at 413-499-9747.

Historic Pittsfield

History comes alive in Pittsfield for you and your family to enjoy!  The story of the Shakers comes vividly to life at historic Hancock Shaker Village, home to the largest collection of Shaker artifacts in the world. Take a self-guided tour of Pittsfield’s historic downtown buildings, as well as the Pittsfield sites on the African-American Heritage Trail, including the home of 19^th century civil rights leader Reverend Samuel Harrison.
